Senior Director of Substance Use Treatment Services

Michelle is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of NJ, PA and SC. Michelle received her BA in Psychology in 2017, MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2020 and Education Specialist Degree in Counseling Services and Leadership in 2020, all from Rider University. For the past three years, Michelle has continued her intensive training to become a highly skilled trauma therapist, earning her position on our leadership team. Michelle has a passion for working with clients struggling with co-occurring diagnoses (including Substance Use Disorders, Trauma/PTSD and a wide range of mental health diagnoses). She focuses on utilizing bottom-up approaches that address the underlying causes of addiction rather than just managing symptoms. In addition to having two clinical licenses, Michelle is also a National Certified Counselor, a Board-Certified Coach, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and a Certified DBT Professional.


Michelle is a therapist who prides herself in always putting the needs and well-being of her clients above all else. She uses various treatment modalities including Person-Centered Approach, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma-Informed Approaches, Somatic Approaches, Internal Family Systems, Brianspotting, Hypnotherapy and EMDR. As the Director of the Outpatient Substance Use Treatment Program at our Mercer county location, Michelle is focused on creating a safe, welcoming environment for clients seeking addiction treatment and peer recovery support. Michelle provides direct support to clinical staff and is dedicated to creating and developing a trauma-informed substance use treatment program. Michelle’s focus is to help all clients “build a life worth living.”
